Meet Sarah!

Sarah Johnson has taught music lessons since 2003. 

In addition to Music, Sarah studied Family & Child Development 

& also has a teaching certificate (TESOL) through BYU-Idaho. 

She has taught music classes at Showstoppers Academy, youth classes for 

Millennial Choirs & Orchestras, and helped develop a  

choir program at Liberty Hills Academy. 

Sarah has directed, choreographed, or musically directed numerous shows for various church, school, & theatre communities, including favorite titles such as Addam's Family, Aladdin Jr., Alice in Wonderland Jr, Annie, A Night of Broadway, Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Joseph & Emma, Newsies, Peter Pan, Into the Woods, and South Pacific! She most recently enjoyed music directing The Little Mermaid at Hopebox in 2023.

Her favorite choral moments have been with MCO (Millennial Choirs & Orchestras), 

Jenny Phillips' Fireside Choir, & USU New Horizons Show Choir. Sarah has performed in multiple venues throughout Utah & has been involved in over 30 musicals. 

Favorite theatre credits include Lucy Harris (Jekyll & Hyde), Marian Paroo (The Music Man), Morticia (The Addam's Family), Baker's Wife (Into the Woods), Annabell Glick (Lucky Stiff), Narrator (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), & Medda (Newsies).

Sarah has directed Stage Dynamics for the past 15 years & loves sharing her passion for music & learning with young talent.
